BHC’s Art Galleries

A sunny day in the Rio II gallery overlooking the Hudson

Arts exposure is an important part of our interface with the communities surrounding our buildings, and also a critical component of the in-building culture at each location. Ana-Ofelia Rodriguez, our Director of Community Development has worked to provide opportunities for tenants, local artists and the community to experience the vibrant local arts culture.

Our two formal galleries, the Rio and Rio II, located in two of our buildings offer monthly exhibits and public performances. Exhibiting artists are representative of the community demographic landscape, and include a wide diversity of painters, poets, musicians, dancers and photographers. The galleries provide a place where artists can display their talents, gain exposure, and network with other artists and art enthusiasts.
