Now on view in Sugar Hill: The Sugar Hill Murals!

muralWith a concept designed by Ella Perez Gabriel and created by Broadway Housing Communities staff, tenants, students and volunteers, this community art project now on view at 404 West 155th Street celebrates the legendary history and exciting future of Harlem’s Sugar Hill neighborhood.

The Sugar Hill Murals were made possible with the talents of artist-collaborators Vicente Fabré, Luis Leonor, Pérsio Minier, Horacio Nadal, Segundo Reynoso, Moses Ros-Suárez, Héctor Ureña, and through the efforts of volunteers of all ages from the neighborhoods of West Harlem and Washington Heights; Bowdoin College; Dorothy Day Early Childhood Center; Dorothy Day Apartments; Litworld; Morgan Stanley Legal and Compliance Division; and New York Cares.
